As part of its effort to facilitate access to information and services through its website, National Library and Archives had designed its website with a set of features that help users, especially those with special needs, to access required information or services in an easy and quick manner.
Features that help easy browsing of the website include:
•    Sitemap
•    Text-to-speech
•    Zoom in screen
•    Change font size
•    Alternative texts for images

Sitemap

National Library and Archives follows the international W3C Standards in designing and structuring its website, making it easy to browse and access all its information and services.

Text-To-Speech

National Library and Archives website provides the text-to-speech feature for users with special needs or visually impaired. The feature can be used by clicking on the “Listen to this page” icon on top of the page.

Zoom In Screen

When facing difficulty in reading texts or viewing images, users can use the zoom-in feature from the View menu on their browsers and adjust screen size.

Change Font Size

If you find it difficult to read the text on your screen, you may increase/decrease the font size by clicking on the (+A) or (-A) icons on top of the page. You may, as well, change the font size using your browser’s tools.

Alternative Text For Images

Each image on National Library and Archives website is tagged with appropriate description. Users can view the description by positioning the mouse cursor over the image.
